Karaoke Licensing Verification is a service of The Problem Solvers Group and Rick Priddis. Rick has been in the karaoke industry since 1984. During those 24 years, he has observed that some karaoke manufacturers have blatantly disregarded any licensing, causing a bad name for the rest of the industry and creating unfair competition with those who do pay royalties to publishers and song writers. From personal experience, he found that even the publishers often do not know who they have given licenses to. This lack of information is due in part to agents who grant licenses on behalf of publishers, but who do not communicate the details back to the publishers along with their royalty checks.

Over the years, the karaoke industry has attempted to come up with a solution to this problem, but ultimately, nothing has been done – until now.
